Need help with eating? – Eric shares his device. This allows for reach, stability and movement while eating. It helps get the fork to the mouth when lifting the arm becomes more difficult.
I got it from www.sammonsprestonrolyan.com. I ordered the Wheelchair Feeder Bracket which goes on the wheelchair and the Mobile Arm Support which then attaches to that bracket. It only works if you get both items. An Occupational Therapist put mine on the chair and adjusted all the pieces until it was just right. It comes in different sizes so anyone who wants one should have an O.T. help them.
