The Independence Foundation is dedicated to providing support and assistance to children and individuals with physical disabilities so that they may live independent, self-directed lives. It is our goal to provide accessible housing, employment, social activities, community involvement, and recreation.

We are a nonprofit (501c3) organization.

Walk for Independence
Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of The Independence Foundation!

Saturday July 17, 2010

10AM Walk starts, 9AM arrivals to park

Elma Village Green, 3007 Bowen Rd, Elma, NY 14059

Paved path, dog park (leashed and bring a bag!), gazebo, playground equipment, shelter and indoor bathrooms, music & face painting for the kids!, 

Complimentary lunch

T-shirts if you raise over $25

Support independence for individuals with disabilities . Celebrate The Independence Foundaiton's 5 year anniversary! Register online and receive a participation packet in the mail. If you are willing to drive a wheelchair bus,to help our individual get to the walk. contact Chris.

Our Second Independence House opened in January - four young adults are happily living with new independence! A total of 7 young adults now live in our Independence Houses.
